Pumping Stations (PS)

Procurement strategy: according to FIDIC Red Book

Before the development, the wastewater was let in the Danube from four high and several small capacity pumping stations. Three of the four high capacity pumping stations (in Ferencváros, Kelenföld and Albertfalva) will be expanded in the frame of this contract: By the modification of their functions they will pump the wastewater to the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The contract concluded in the frame of public procurement procedure includes the following tasks:

• Preparing the design and obtaining a permit for the reconstruction of the pump stations in Ferencváros, Kelenföld and Albertfalva (with 6,0 m 3/s, 4,5 m 3/s and 0,42 m 3/s capacity respectively)
• The reconstruction and extension of the stations during operation, and
• The construction of the wastewater pressure pipes between the pump stations in Albertfalva and Kelenföld,
• Conducting the test operation.
